The Project Scope generally includes the replacement of all windows and all exterior doors specified Habeeb & Associates approved Plans, and all associated work. Examples of the expected trades and associated work to be completed are: Hazardous materials abatement; selective demolition; concrete repair; miscellaneous rough carpentry; sheet metal flashings and trim, joint sealants; hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum entrances and storefronts, glazed aluminum curtain walls, aluminum windows, door hardware, automatic door operators, glazing, fixed louvers; acoustical panel ceilings, resilient tile flooring, painting; signage, toilet accessories; and roller window shades; plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. The Work, including all alternates for the project, is estimated to cost $2,426,707. The project work consists of the replacement of windows and doors at the Maurice A. Donahue School in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The project shall be constructed so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the plans and specifications. B. General Project Information, the work consists of the removal of the existing exterior window and door assemblies. Removal of selective original window trim casing. Installation of new aluminum windows and FRP doors and frames. Provide field cut opening of the new insulated panel for the installation of the existing A/C units. Perform hazardous materials abatement including disposal as described in the HazMat specifications. C. The date of Substantial Completion shall be August 26, 2024, with a final completion date of December 29, 2024
