Project Description: This contract provides for the construction of the Pressure Sewer Collection System for the Port Hadlock Wastewater System in Port Hadlock, Washington. Work includes installation of HDPE pressure sewer systems and appurtenance; demolition, grading, hot mix asphalt, cement concrete sidewalks, curbs, and gutters; traffic control and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Engineer s Estimate range for this work is between $ 6,400,000.00 to $6,900,000.00 plus WSST. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid Bond Each bid shall be accompanied by a surety bond, postal money order, cashier s check or certified check payable to the Treasurer of Jefferson County in the sum of five (5%) percent of the bid amount, to be forfeited to Jefferson County by the successful bidder if he/she fails to enter into a contract and file an acceptable surety bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within ten (10) days of the award. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to Jefferson County, and to waive all informalities in the bidding.
