North Plains Urban Renewal Agency ("Agency") is soliciting electronically submitted proposals from qualified environmental services consulting firms for hazardous material surveying, remediation planning and related services for existing structures on six Agency-owned tax lots within the City of North Plains. Hazardous material surveys, remediation planning and related services will inform decisions and actions by the Agency to remove existing structures and redevelop the said properties, grouped together as the following distinct Agency projects: . Glencoe Opportunity Area: 5.07 acres (four tax lots) on NW Glencoe Road that is currently being planned as a grocery-anchored commercial center; and . Downtown Opportunity Site: 0.48 acres (two tax lots) on NW Commercial Street across from North Plains City Hall that are being considered for either housing/mixed-use or new civic improvements.Proposals received after the designated time and date will be returned unopened. The North Plains Urban Renewal Agency may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements and other applicable law, and may reject any or all proposals in whole or in part when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the Agency. At its sole discretion, the Agency may also elect to accept responses to this RFP which it deems insubstantially deficient.
