Provide and install two poles with LED sports lighting, for the Fairgrounds Park pickleball court. Fairgrounds park pickleball court LED lights Vandal resistant lighting is desirable. Vendor is responsible for conduit and conductors from existing pad mounted transformer to site to be lighted. Vendor is responsible for any excavation needed to complete project. A clearly presented optional bid price that does not include trenching and excavation may also be provided. Pole bases must be to a minimum depth of 42" or better due to the presence of a layer of high shrink swell clays at the site and protection from freeze and thaw of soils. provide and install two metal light poles, provide and install pole bases, provide and install lighting fixtures, provide and install any needed fixture mounting brackets and hardware, provide and install conduit and conductors, provide and install any needed changes to electrical service for the safe operation of lights provided, provide and install any needed switch gear not already present, provide and install control switches and mechanical timers like those present on existing courts to the south, and any needed bolts/fasteners. Vendor is responsible for conduit, conductors, and all needed components to extend electric service from existing pad mounted transformer to courts to be lighted. Vendor is responsible for proper site location of proposed elements. Two poles provided by bidder must be sufficient for mounting LED lighting fixtures 20 feet above court surface or better. LED Lighting fixtures must provide a minimum of 25-30 ft. candles at court surface at 3 foot above the courts surface with an average uniformity ratio of 2.0 or better over the two courts primary playing area. Minimum maintained foot candles should not fall below 19 at any measurable point 3 feet above the court surface. Vendor is responsible for any excavation and/or trenching needed to complete project. Rough grading of trenching, excavation, and construction ruts is the responsibility of the vendor. The City of Mexico will seed all bare dirt. Option 1: clearly present optional bid price that does not include trenching and excavation by the bidder. Bidders may select to bid this option but are not required to if bidding with in house trenching and excavating is desired. Proposal should include projected starting date if bid is selected. All work to be completed and invoiced prior to May 20, 2024. It is the responsibility of the contractor to provide proof of liability insurance, workers compensation coverage, and a valid city license.
