Renovation of an educational facility in Tiffin, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of removal and replacement of one insulated PVC roof section to the deck and replacement with a new roofing system. The replacement roof section (referred to as areas S&T) will consist of a self-adhered vapor barrier, polyisocyanurate insulation system, gypsum coverboard, an adhered 90 mil EPDM roof membrane, and associated flashing components. The approximate size of the project is 7,600 sf. The Owner's construction budget for this project is $222,800.00. Construction is anticipated to commence on June 6, 2024 and must be Substantially Completed August 7, 2024 and Final Completion August 30, 2024. The bidder's security shall be in an amount equivalent to 5% of the bid amount, and shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America, or a certified bank share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States of America or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner. Bidders shall be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond and a two-year maintenance bond conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
