Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Letcher County Fiscal Court has experienced damages due to a Á ooding event occurring in July 2022 (DR-4663-KY). The Court is seeking bids for demolition and site restoration services for the FEMA property buyout grant program. Demolition of structures (houses) and any outbuildings. Debris must be wetted if suspected to have asbestos. Letcher County also requests debris to be wetted if high dust and neighboring properties are nearby. Demolition of associated driveways, fences, mailboxes, and landscaping. Termination of abandoned utilities at least 2 feet below the finish grade of site, including the capping of all wells and/or removal of associated components. Removal of demolition debris and household hazardous waste to an approved landfill (scale/tipping tickets are required).
