The Town of Marion Open Space Acquisition Commission (MOSAC) is seeking written responses from qualified vendors to install base material in the existing excavation in the proposed location of a shared use path along Point Road in Marion, MA. The base material will be provided by A. D. Makepeace Company at their location off of Federal Road in Wareham, Massachusetts, and shall be transported to the job site by the selected vendor. This proposed work is on the east side of Point Road between Jenna and Joanne Drives. January 3, 2024, Deadline for questions (must be submitted by email) January 5, 2024, Questions answered If the contract price is greater than $25,000, the approved vendor is required to furnish a Payment Bond in an amount equal to 50% of the contract price. The Town of Marion reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel this procurement if the Town determines that it is in its best interests to do so. Bike Path subbase material placed on existing excavation between Joanne and Jenna Drives, Marion MA Install base material in the existing excavation in the proposed location of a shared use path along Point Road in Marion, MA. Gravel provided offsite.
