Small Business Requirements Apply- Yes The purpose of this contract is to provide engineering and related services to King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, Solid Waste Division ("County") to locate, map, and assess the condition of piping, joints, and associated mechanical equipment using noninvasive methods and means, detect high risk areas for urgent repairs, ascertain locations for installation of new access points, and identify opportunities for relocating the existing leachate discharge line out of the travel lanes of SR 169. For this contract, the County has determined that the maximum labor rate limitation will not apply. This effort may include, if needed, conducting community outreach, identifying, and confirming community stakeholders, and gathering and considering community input in project progress decisions. The Consultant shall establish a project website for public information, use social media for communicating about the project and may use press releases and mailers to inform the public in the service area.
