**As of March 04, 2024, This project has been awarded to Ruger Construction with the awarded amount of $73,259.92 .** EPV: We do not have an engineers estimate, our budgeted amount is not to exceed $65,000 The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified Contractor to increase security measures at Fire Administration located at 510 E. Florida Ave, Hemet CA, 92543. The existing building was formerly a library and is known as the Covell Memorial Building. The building has an open floorplan with offices located at the periphery. The front counter is currently unsecured and the public has unrestricted access to staff and entry to the remainder of the building. The City desires to retain multiple vendors to evaluate, price, and work to secure the front lobby while increasing the number work stations available to staff.
