This project consists of approximately 1,385 linear feet of 8 and 10-inch sanitary sewer lines, 10 manholes, including abandonment of existing sanitary lines, and other sewer related construction, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check from a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City, or an original bid bond in the same amount from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and listed on the current U.S. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance executed by a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a surety or its authorized agent as a guarantee that the respondent will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to respondent. The successful respondent shall furnish to the City upon notice of award a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in conformance with statutory requirements. The successful respondent shall furnish to the City once the project is complete a one (1) year maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price.
