Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: The Goldstream Water Treatment Plant (GWTP) requires upgrades to two chemical transfer facilities where chemical offloading occurs; the sodium hypochlorite and ammonium hydroxide facilities. Specifically, the outdoor chemical offloading spill containment pads require increased drain and piping sizes, additional trench drains, and upsized concrete curbs. These upgrades are intended to better prevent spills from being released into the environment should a spill occur.
