Waterproofing Services. SCOPE OF WORK: PBA is seeking a qualified contractor(s) for the provision of waterproofing services of various types for projects at PBA managed facilities. PBA manages a diverse group of properties, all within the boundaries of Knox County, ranging from the Old Courthouse that was built in the late 1800's to new construction as well as single and multi-story facilities. The services include, but are not limited to: caulking, damp proofing, glass glazing, injectables, joint sealants, water proofing, and water-repellants. The services to be provided are detailed herein to meet required performance. This work must include all supervision, labor materials, equipment, supplies, licenses, and insurance required to fulfill the specifications in this solicitation. Prior to work commencing, the successful Contractor(s) may be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each equal to 100% of the job cost) when any one project exceeds $100,000 in value. The Bonds will be returned upon the successful and satisfactory completion of the project. PBA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received as a result of this request and to waive any informality, technical defect or clerical error in any proposal, as the interests of PBA may require. Non-acceptance of any proposal will be devoid of any criticism of the proposal and of any implication that the proposal is deficient in any manner. Non-acceptance of any proposal will be construed as meaning simply that PBA does not deem the proposal to be acceptable or that another proposal was deemed to be more advantageous to PBA for the particular services proposed.
