Site work for a fire / police facility in Saint Marys, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

**As of March 13, 2024 project has been canceled. As of this time it is unknown if an when project will rebid. The scope of work includes: disconnecting the current septic system, pumping the septic tank, filling or removing the septic tank (whichever is more cost effective), back fill as necessary, connecting existing plumbing to the sanitary sewer invert to the North of the building, and purchase/installation of necessary equipment for this project. Grounds shall be left in a state as near the state of starting the project or have a seeding plan for grass regrowth. It is the contractors responsibility to obtain and comply with all required permits and pre-dig/bore utility locations. On behalf of Facilities Management, Camden County Purchasing Department requests sealed competitive bids for a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment to connect Fire Station 12 to City of St. Marys sewer system. The facility is located at 3557 Charlie Smith Sr. Hwy, St. Marys, GA 31558. One (1) original and two (2) copies of required bid documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "CAMDEN COUNTY FIRE STATION 12 SEWER HOOKUP #3- ITB #B24-1565-14". Bids may be withdrawn by written request only if the request is received prior to the time and date set for the opening bids. Negligence on the part of the bidder in preparing their bid confers no right of withdrawal or modification of their bid after bid has been opened. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time and date of opening of bids. Camden County reserves the exclusive right to determine which bidder should be awarded the Contract. Camden County also reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in a bid, and accept or reject any item or combination of items, when to do so would benefit Camden County. Also, Camden County may reject bids that do not contain all elements and information requested. Camden County will not be liable for any cost/losses incurred by bidders throughout this process. Camden County does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, or disability. The bidder will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Camden County from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses including, but not limited to, fees and charges of attorneys and court and arbitration costs, arising out of or resulting from the negligent acts, negligent omissions, willful misconduct, or reckless misconduct of the bidder or anyone for whom the bidder is responsible. All questions shall be received by January 22nd, 2024 and answered by January 24th, 2024.
