Renovation of a mixed-use development in Buffalo, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Generally, the work includes removal of ballasted EPDM roof and replaced with a fully adhered EPDM roof at Tri-City C.U.S.D. #1. Work shall be substantially complete by August 9, 2024. Bids shall include: 1. Properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate. 2. Bid Deposit in the amount of 10% of Bid. 3. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor pursuant to Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-1 et. seq. All Bidders are advised that all work of this Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act". Prevailing wage rates have been determined and are on file at the Office of the State of Illinois Department of Labor, telephone (217) 782-6206. All Bidders shall submit and enclose with their bid a notarized certification that the Contractor is not barred from bidding on the Contract as a result of a violation of either Section 33 E-3 or 33 E-4 of Article 33E, Public Act 85-1295 (Senate Bill 2002) effective January 1, 1989. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to Tri-City C.U.S.D. #1. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U.S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. The Board of Education for Tri-City C.U.S.D. #1 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
