Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ravenswood, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Construction of a beginner level trail oriented towards walking and biking at North Park located at 717 Fitzhugh Street Project: North Park Trail. Work will include submitting a trail plan set and the construction of a multi-use trail (hiking, biking and running) covering one mile of trail within an area of approximately 20 acres. .40 mile will be a gravel surface path and a .60 mile trail will be natural surface. Trail character should be of the "easiest" ability rating as outlined by IMBA and an average tread width of 48". All new trail will be a smooth mechanically compacted trail surface. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a certified check or bid bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Bid Security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders ten (10) days following opening of bid. The Bid Security of the successful bidder will be retained until they execute a surety bond for performance of the contract. If the successful bidder is not able to furnish surety bond within ten (10) days following award of contract, their Bid Security shall be forfeited to the City of Ravenswood, West Virginia. All bonds must be counter-signed by a West Virginia resident agent. A successful bidder shall be licensed to do business in the State of West Virginia and shall obtain a business license from the City of Ravenswood prior to commencing work on the paving project. Successful bidders shall have proof of liability insurance. Successful bidder will be required to obtain and pay for a City Business License. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. This is a lump sum bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
