This project consists of the Contractor providingo: all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to resurface portions of the road within the Bunker Hill Area of Gunpowder Falls state Park at 17724Bunker Hill Rd.- Parkton MD, 21120 in Baltimore County. The proposed project shall include, but is hot limited To the following: Properly grade/excavate and prepare existing road surface for new roadside rip-rap swale, approximately 60' Linear Feet of new culvert pipe at pull-off area 2 and road resurfacing (to include specified slope) as per Drawing C.3. Cut and grade two areas (approximately 650 Square Feet) for asphalt paved pull off locations (pull off one and two) as per Drawing C.3. Install one yard inlet and 60' Linear Feet of new culvert pipe at pull off area #2 as per Drawing C.3. c. Cut and grade one area (approximately 500 Square Feet) for rip-rap dispersion area as per Drawing C.3. d. Install approximately 4,600 Square Feet of Geotextile fabric and Class 1 Rip- Rap for the swale and dispersion area as per Drawing C.3. e. Install wedge and level and pull off areas base graded aggregate as per Drawing C.3, Detail A, C to be calculated under Unit Price # 1. f. Install 4" of asphalt base course, tack coat and 2" of asphalt surface course as per Drawing C.3. Ensure proper specified slope. Saw cut and transition joining existing asphalt road surfaces as per Drawing C.3.Site restoration and clean up. MBE Participation (%) 20.00 Project Cost Class B - $100,000 to $500,000 The project classification for this solicitation is: "B" Bid prices are irrevocable for a period of 120 days following bid opening. The deadline for questions has been established as January 23, 2024 @ 2:00 p.m., to ensure that there is enough time to allow for the A/E to provide responses and possible Addendum issuance if necessary. The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $350.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions." *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
