The building will be fully occupied by the Administration while the construction work is occurring. This project is comprised of providing comprehensive restoration of the existing floor slab in Hereford Maintenance Shop Facility. Associated plumbing and electrical work shall be required to complement slab restoration. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Project Management: Coordination of all aspects of the construction process including, but not limited to, subcontractor coordination and construction phasing. 2. Removal and disposal of existing concrete floor slab and asphalt paving in Shop bay. 3. Installation of new concrete floor slabs. 4. Installation of all services required for operation of the new mobile lifts and related accessories. 5. Relocation of all in-slab or under-slab utilities noted or found during construction to an overhead position except those necessary for proper operation of the systems including independent testing of electrical installations. 6. Replacement of trench drains & related piping. 7. All other work noted on the drawings or specified herein. 8. This project is a lump sum bid: any reference to the unit costs, other than those indicated in the Proposal Form/Summary of Prices, shall be construed to mean: "time will not be measured, but shall be incidental to the Lump Sum Bid for this Project. The building will be fully occupied by the Administration while the construction work is occurring. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
