Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Rochester, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 16,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Demolition of the Olmsted County Graham Park Grandstands. Existing grandstand is a 16,000-square-foot, steel-framed structure. 1. Demolition of the existing 16,000-square-foot, steel-framed structure within the Limits of Work. The Work will include removal of all regulated materials within the building prior to demolition, removal of all above- and below-grade building features including the structure, foundation, and select utilities within the Limits of Work with the exception of a pad-mounted electrical transformer, a utility pole, a sewer manhole, and water service stub. 2. Removal of a an approximately 3-foot tall concrete and steel retaining wall located 400 feet east of the grandstand structure. Removal will consist of all above- and below-grade features, which include steel H-piles supporting poured concrete blocks. 3. The ground surface within the Limits of Work will be graded to match existing grade with imported General Fill Material and six inches of top soil in disturbed areas and grass will be established. The Work shall be conducted in a manner that results in Final Completion by May 31, 2024. CONTRACTOR shall recognize that time is an essential element of the Work.
