Renovation of a transportation facility in St George, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

An existing planning room on the second floor will be transformed to include refrigeration, freezer, and dry food storage, as well as a new water heater and mop sink. The plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems will be upgraded to handle the new foodservice and bar areas. A new waste line and grease interceptor will be added and will tie into the existing sewer main in front of the terminal building. The new utilities will tie into the existing building's system. The new kitchen area will require all necessary commercial kitchen equipment including hand sinks, a three-compartment sink, refrigeration, and a countertop cooking unit. Both the food service and bar areas will contain a point of sale and custom casework. The bar will include drink serving equipment, refrigeration, and a glasswasher. Minor finishes are to be completed, including removing the existing carpet flooring in the kitchen and existing planning room and sealing the concrete beneath and replacing the kitchen's existing acoustic ceiling tiles with Foodservice Grade ones. The first floor will need minor work with removing a single wall and adding in a new one with a secure double door where noted to account for secure ADA access to the second floor. Construction for this project is expected to take 140 Working Days. Proposal Bid Bond. The 100% performance - labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every PROPOSAL shall be accompanied by a proposal bid bond in the amount of 5% of the proposal, naming the City of St. George as oblige, this proposal bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George. Certificate of Legal Work Status. As required by St. George City Code 1-10B-14 a signed certificate of legal work status for the CONTRACTOR must accompany the PROPOSAL. City of St. George reserves the right to reject any, or all PROPOSALS, or to waive any formality or technicality in any PROPOSAL, in the interest of the City. Performance & Payment Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price
