The Board of Education of St. Marys County on behalf of St. Marys County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to perform general electrical services to include on-call time, material, service, repairs and maintenance. Services shall include routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, service, winterization, emergency services, repairs and/or replacements of parts, and new installation as needed for SMCPS at schools and facilities through the school system. Contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision as necessary. Contractors must be available by telephone twenty-four (24) hours a day, 365 days a year. In the event of an emergency, Contractors must be able to arrive at a work site within four (4) hours of being contacted by SMCPS. The resulting contract shall be awarded for a period of one (1) year with four (4) additional one-year options to renew. SMCPS reserves the right to award the requirements of this bid in total or in part as it determines to be in the best interest of SMCPS. St. Marys County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in bidding.
