Counties: Dist/st-wide Road Name:districtwide State Roads Limits:at Various Locations Project(s): 22083865201(*) Federal Aid No: D323110B Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 1095 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Letting Date: 01/31/24 Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 15 Days Description: The Improvements under this Districtwide Traffic Operations Push Button Contract consist of a means whereby the Department can provide a quick response for providing operational and/or safety improvements for a period of 3 years, with the option for renewal up to 5 years. Any project issued shall be concluded within the terms of this Contract. A variety of traffic operations and/or safety improvements may be included under this Contract. Listed below are examples of the primary types of work that may be included, but are not limited to: . Turn lane construction or modification. . Signing and pavement markings including delineators and reflective pavement markers. . Access modifications at driveways and median openings. . Construction of median crossovers on interstate facilities . Adding and/or modifying pedestrian and bicycle facilities including sidewalks, midblock crosswalks with RRFBs, bicycle lanes, pedestrian signals, and ADA improvements. . Minor roadway improvements including adding paved shoulders, widening existing shoulders, crash cushions, and/or installation or modification of guardrail. . School zone improvements to meet current standards. Additional types of improvements may be required to support the overall intent of the operational and safety improvement. These activities may be related to signalization, minor drainage work, and other. Examples of these improvements include, but are not limited to: . Traffic signal installation, replacement, and/or modification. . Adding and/or modifying pedestrian and bicycle facilities including pedestrian signals and detectors. . Signing and pavement markings including LED stop signs, blank-out signs, and other various signs with electronic components. . Installation of vehicular detection systems. . Installing ITS CCTV cameras and setting up traffic monitoring sites. . Minor lighting work including adding and/or upgrading corridor and intersection lighting. . Drainage modification as impacted by the specified traffic operations improvement. Question Deadline 01/24/2024 at 5:00 PM Questions posted to this site will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after this time, an answer cannot be assured. For all questions posted before the deadline, FDOT will provide and post responses on online. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation.
