Project Description: The Scope of this project is to provide and install Wire Mesh Partitions - Woven Wire Mesh assemblies and supplemental support system will be installed from floor of mezzanine to ceiling of the dayroom. Woven wire mesh to be provided at dayrooms A, B, C, F, RH-1 and RH-2, as per Wagstaff + Rogers Architectural plans and Project Spec Book. Mandatory Background Check: All attendees are required to be cleared prior to entering the jail facility, for the Pre-Bid site visit. A clear image of the driver's license of each attending individual must be submitted by email to paswallow@marincounty.org by Wednesday January 17, 2024 for clearance processing. Failure to do so will exclude un-cleared attendees from entering the facility. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via Online no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. The Engineer's estimated cost for the accomplishment of this work is $895,000. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "B" General Building Contractors License at time of bid submittal.
