No definite date for the rebid.** Question Deadline 01/05/2024 at 12:00 PM PT Intradistrict portable relocation from Sower ES in Huntington Beach to contractor's yard for refurbishment and storage, and then relocation from contractor's yard to Victoria ES in Costa Mesa, California. Project includes, but is not limited to, demo for access and removal of portables, coordination with District and contractor providing disconnect to portables (disconnect by others), removal of any furniture or items needing to be removed for transport, protection of portables and preparation work for transport, transportation of portables, storage of 8 portables until August 2023, refurbishment of 4 DSA portables and 4 non-DSA portables including finishes and casework, and installation of portables including all mod line reconnection and finishes at Victoria site as well as any other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Contractor will be required to provide insurance for portables during the entire project, additional information on this provided in the contract documents. Temporary fencing will be required for removal of portables at HBCSD, additional information on this provided in the contract documents. Coordination with HBCSD, HBCSD's contractor, NMUSD and their CM, and NMUSDs contractor to be included in this proposal for a complete removal and complete installation. Bid Valid 1/2024 Liquidated Damages $2,500.00/Day Estimated Bid Value 500,000 Start/Delivery Date 2/2024 Project Duration 146 Days Interdistrict portable relocation for Victoria ES shall include, but not be limited to: removal of 8 portable classroom buildings at Sowers Elementary School in Huntington Beach with transportation to contractor's yard; minor renovations to 4 DSA classroom buildings as needed for future use; transportation and placement of 4 DSA portable classroom buildings to Victoria ES site in summer 2024 (site to be prepared by others), and storage of remaining 4 portable classroom buildings in contractor's yard as shown on the contract documents. Project includes all incidentals, adjacent, and related work to complete this scope. Protection of units throughout project is the responsibility of the contractor as well as coordination with site work contractor for a complete install in summer 2024. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Bids received after said time shall be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after the Bid opening date. In addition, a copy of the prevailing rate of per diem wages will be made available at the District's Administration Office upon request.
