This project will involve regrading, installation of storm sewer and installation of turf reinforcement mat to address erosion issues on the site. Drainage that currently flows down the hillside will now be collected in intakes and routed underground, addressing the main cause of the erosion. A swale will be constructed for large storms, providing a specific route for water to drain in those events and turf reinforcement mat will be installed to the swale to protect the hillside Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or certified credit union share draft in a separate envelope in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Lump-sum bids will be received under one contract as described in the specifications. Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after specified closing time for receiving bids. Work under the proposed contract shall be commenced immediately after the award of the contract and shall be completed and ready for operation not later than 180 calendar days after the notice to proceed, subject to any extension of time which may be granted by the Board of Directors.
