Lawrence Arts Center Elevator Modifications All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the city's purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org.The questions deadline is Tuesday, January 16th, at 12:00pm Central Time Zone. All questions will receive an official written response from the city and will become addenda to this Bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond no less than 5% of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Lawrence, retained by the City Commission until a contract for the project shall have been awarded. Checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected. The work Substantially Completed on or before August 30 2024 and Completed and ready for payment accordance General Conditions on or before September 29 ,2024. Liquidated damages for delay contractor Shall pay Owner $ 5000 for each day that expires after the time Specified above for final completion . The city Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids .
