The purpose of this project is to renovate Hopkins Park pool to ensure safety and compliance, energy efficiency, provide aquatic programs, revitalize the community space and enhance overall experience for users. Renovate and enhance Hopkins Park pool's infrastructure, meet current safety standards and regulatory requirements, improve accessibility, and reopen facilities to the community. 1. Inspect the structural integrity of the entire pool shell, reinforcement, and sub-floor and repair as needed 2. Prep and replaster pool shell 3. Remove and replace all tiling, including depth markers 4. Retile lane lines on pool bottom 5. Remove and replace all ladders 6. Remove and replace all railings 7. Remove and replace all hardware for hooks, ropes & backstroke flags 8. Replace pool lights as recommended 9. Re-plumb pool for new adequate filtration 10. Remove and replace filtration system (pumps, filters, sand filters, chemical feeder, etc.) 11. Supply & install adequate electrical supply for new pumps & filters. 12. Remove and replace pool deck surface 13. Remove existing wheel chair lifts and replace as recommended 14. Refill pool and have ready for use OPTIONAL IMPROVEMENTS: AS RECOMMENDED AND PROPOSED BY BIDDER: 1. Repurpose and improve existing children's wading pool area 2.
