The Town of Hingham (the Owner and Awarding Authority) seeks to solicit bids for all work for the re-roofing of the existing Fire Station Headquarters, 339 Main St., Hingham, MA 02043, other miscellaneous exterior carpentry and painting work, asbestos abatement, lead safe practices and other exterior related Work as indicated in the Solicitation Documents. Bids for the Work are subject to the provisions of General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 44A- 44J inclusive, as amended and Section 39M through 39R of Chapter 30 as amended. Regulations governing bidding procedure as set forth in above mentioned General Laws must be followed. In the event of any inconsistencies between any of the provisions of these Bidding Documents and of the cited statute, anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the provisions of the said statute shall control.
