Question Cuttoff Date & Time :1/16/2024 12:00:00 PM (ET) Pre Bid Meeting: N/A No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for opening. The Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and payment bond for $250,000 as security for the faithful performance of the contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with the Contract. This bond shall be executed on standard form by a Surety authorized to do business in the state and acceptable to the Owner and is required for the life of the contract The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has set a goal that not less than ten percent (10%) of the total value of this contract be subcontracted to MBE/WBEs, and set a goal that not less than three percent (3%) of the total value of this contract be subcontracted to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The goal for the utilization of Certified MBE/WBEs and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses as subcontractors are recommended goals. Contractors who fail to meet such goals will be expected to provide written explanations to the Director of the Division of Procurement of efforts they have made to accomplish the recommended goals and the extent to which they are successful in accomplishing the recommended goals will be a consideration in the procurement process. Bidder is requested to show both unit prices and lot prices. In the event of error, the unit price shall prevail The terms of this agreement shall be for 2 year(s) from the date of acceptance of this contract by the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government. This agreement may be automatically extended for an additional 2-1 year(s) renewal. This contract may be canceled by either party thirty (30) days after delivery by canceling party of written notice of intent to cancel to the other contracting party. The Urban County Government Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids.
