The Rural Municipality of Torch River reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest bid will not necessarily be awarded. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular. The Rural Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before the execution of the contract by all parties, without any liability against the Rural Municipality. The Bidder is required to submit with its Tender, a Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond or certified cheque equivalent to 10.0% of the tender sum. The Bid Bond and Consent of Surety shall be issued by a Surety Company licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan and satisfactory to the RM. Complete the work within the time stated. By mutual agreement the commencement date for the tender shall be no later than September 1st, 2024 and the completion date shall be September 30, 2024; plus any extension in time granted under the terms of the contract documents, after which date the Contractor shall be liable for liquidated damages. Crushing operation preferred to commence on or after June 15th, 2024.
