The Village of Plenty (Village) is located in Central Saskatchewan, approximately 170 km Southwest of Saskatoon. The Village water treatment plant is a groundwater plant (Non-GUDI) and uses only sodium hypochlorite injection for treatment. Raw water supply has elevated levels of ammonia which make it difficult to achieve and maintain a required free chlorine residual throughout the distribution system. Sodium Hypochlorite must be added at levels that exceed the maximum use level (MUL) for that product. The community is proposing to use a UV disinfection system to provide primary disinfection for the system. The Village is seeking proposal submissions for design, installation and commissioning of a UV disinfection system. Services: - Project management, design, and submission of all applicable permit applications for construction. - Supply, installation, and commissioning of UV disinfection units. Mobilization, all necessary labour and costs related to labor. - Installation and supply of electrical controls. - Operator training - All measures necessary for worker safety - Record documentation Project work is to be completed and commissioned by November 2024.
