Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Independence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bidder must deposit bid security with the bid in the amount of 5% of the total bid which is subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to deposit a Performance and Statutory Payment bond in the amount of 100 % of the bid. BIDDER acknowledges understanding of terms for liquidated damages as provided by the General Conditions, and agrees to pay liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 per day, and by the term(s) established in the Agreement, without condition or recourse. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids and to re advertise and rebid and/or negotiate with any or all bidders. BIDDER, in submitting this Bid, agrees to commence work under the Agreement on or before a date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed and to complete the Agreement within 90 consecutive calendar days, thereafter. BIDDER acknowledges understanding of terms for liquidated damages as provided by the General Conditions, and agrees to pay liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 per day, and by the term(s) established in the Agreement, without condition or recourse.
