A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Deposits will be returned to successful bidder upon execution of contract documents. Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commission of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. 1971, 197.1-17, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. The Contractor hereby agrees to commence work under the Contract on a date specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner, and to fully complete the project within 210 Consecutive Calendar days to Substantial Completion and 240 Consecutive Calendar Days to Final Completion The Contractor further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of One Thousand and 00/00 Dollars ($1,000.00) for each consecutive calendar day till Substantial Completion and Five Hundred and 00/00 Dollars ($500.00) for each consecutive calendar day till Final Completion thereafter as provided in the Contract and General Conditions. No interpretation of the means of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his bid as submitted. All addenda so listed shall become part of the contract documents.
