As of February 22, 2024, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet. Blinn College District, a Junior College District of Washington County, is receiving competitive sealed proposals for Electrical Contractor services for Lighting Replacement at the Band Field on the Blinn Campus in Brenham, Texas. The selection of the Electrical Contractor will follow the provisions of the Texas Educational Code Section 44.031 and consist of the one-step process set forth in Section 2269 of the Texas Government Cod Blinn College District reserves the right to award proposals in a manner most advantageous to the College. The scope of work for the project will include the following, as illustrated, and described within the Contract Documents issued by Cleary Zimmerman Base Bid: This project at Blinn College Brenham Campus includes demolition and disposal of existing field lighting and purchase and installation of new infrastructure and field lighting. B. Alternates to Base Bid are as follows: Alternate No. 1: a. Add all circuit breakers, conduits, conductors, boring, mini power zones, pipe/unistrut equipment supports and GFI receptacles related to providing 120 volt power at each pole. b.
