Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Marquette, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Request for Proposals Intent: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit a qualified roofing contractor to provide roof replacement for the City of Marquette Mattson Lower Harbor Restrooms. The project includes removal of the existing shingled roofing and installation of a new shingled roof as listed under the scope of work section. To accommodate park events, work may begin April 1st, 2024, and must be completed by June1st, 2024. The proposal cost shall be a lump sum amount to be paid upon completion. Project Location: 200 Lakeshore Blvd. Mattson Lower Harbor Park. Marquette Michigan. Scope of Work: o Complete removal and disposal of existing shingled roofing and underlayment o Re-nail existing plywood and other boards where needed. o Installation of new ice and water underlayment on 100% of roof surface o Installation of new drip edge - color shall match existing drip edge. o Installation of new 50-year commercial warranty architectural shingle - color to match existing roof and must be approved by the City upon award of contract. o All necessary flashing, trim, venting, and fasteners are to be included. o Contractors must keep the work area neat at the end of each workday and contained through the duration of the job.
