Project Requirements - Network UPS Overview Chesaning Union Schools is seeking pricing to replace some of their Network UPSes for their network electronics. Final Date for Inquiries: 12:00 PM EST, Friday, January 26, 2024. Any necessary Addendum to this bid will be posted electronically. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for any Addendum clarifications prior to final bid submittal. The District will not be responsible for notification of any Addendum postings. Estimated Start Date: Monday, July 8, 2024 Required Completion Date: Monday, September 2, 2024 Right to Reject: We reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or defects, and to accept other than the low bidder in the best interest of Chesaning Union Schools. BID BOND: For all proposals in the amount of $50,000 or more: 1. Security may be a certified check, bank draft irrevocable bank letter or credit or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the project price to secure the District from loss or damage by reason of withdrawal or by failure of the bidder to enter into a contract if the bid is accepted. 2. All bidders must be bondable and shall include in the Proposal the cost of furnishing Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds each in the payable amount of 100% of the proposed bidding sum. The bonds shall hold Chesaning Union Schools as the oblige. A surety authorized by the State of Michigan must issue bonds. The surety must be listed on the current Federal Register. Failure to meet these requirements shall be cause for rejection of the bond. Rights of the District Chesaning Union Schools reserves the right to: reject any and all bids without assigning any reason therefore. be the sole judge of equivalency. negotiate with all qualified sources. assign weighting factors to contract award criteria. waive in part or in its entirety this RFP or any bid requirements in accepting or rejecting bids. award a portion of this work and request a deduct credit for work deleted. award the sections to separate vendors. allow service substitutions as warranted and as permitted by the FCC/USAC.
