It is the intent of the City of Manitowoc to have the Contractor complete selective demolition of portions of the existing South 19th Street Pumping Station and Rehabilitation of this Pumping Station as detailed on the project plans and specifications. The Pumping Station is located at 600 South 19th Street, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Any Contract to be awarded are expected to be funded with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Clean Water Fund Program and is subject to all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Women's and Minority-owned businesses, are encouraged to submit Bids for this project. Bidders shall certify and attach to its Bid that all iron and steel products used on the project be produced in the United States and comply with the American Iron and Steel requirement. Additional improvements include rehabilitation to the existing building and all restorations. Project includes wastewater by-pass pumping as necessary during construction.
