Demolition and asbestos abatement of the former Kennedy School, 610 E. Parkdale Ave., Manistee, MI. Interested bidders should email tsearles@fishbeck.com for the RFP. Manistee County Land Bank Authority (hereafter "the LBA") is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the demolition of the former Kennedy Elementary School. Demolition also includes removal of the asphalt parking lot, a concrete basketball court, a partial basement, other asphalt or concrete surfaces, concrete footings and metal remnants from the former playground equipment, and trash and surface debris. The school is located at 610 E. Parkdale Avenue in Manistee, Michigan. The parcel ID number is 07-820-021-10. The adjacent Manistee Schools maintenance garage west of the school building will remain and the school district will be actively using the western driveway leading to the school. The western driveway may be used by the selected contractor for access so long as it does not interfere with daily school operations
