The City of Wentzville (the "City") is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing Poured in Place Playground Surface with a new Poured in Place rubberized surface at the Progress Park Playground. This consists of the removal of the existing surface and the supply and installation of the new surface. Pre-Bid Meeting: None. Bidders are welcome to visit the playground located at Progress Park, 968 Meyer Road, Wentzville, Missouri 63385 Question Deadline 01/24/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Bidders are to submit written questions through the eBidding system. Contractor is to remove, dispose and replace existing Poured in Place Playground Surface with matching color materials and patterns that meet or exceed the Playground Safety Standards per ASTM Playground Specifications and Impact Attenuation Safety Playground Safety Standard for 10 years from date of completion. Project consists of Approximately 5,250 sq. ft of surface; contractors should confirm the exact measurements as this is only an estimate for the size of the job. Site construction must be secured from patrons accessing the playground and work area. Removing and disposing of all existing rubberized materials down to the sub base must be disposed of in a safe manner in accordance with any Federal, State or Local rules or regulations.
