Renovation of an educational facility in Westport, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Town of Westport is looking to have a design firm perform a thorough review and provide drawings and specifications to address the necessary repairs to the existing Auditorium stage rigging system, as well as the Auditorium house lighting components at the Staples High School facility. The current rigging system for the stage is dated and numerous modifications made to the system over the years need to be reviewed for safety compliance and corrective work and the lighting within the Auditorium space will require upgrades and modifications to the existing controls and fixtures. Staples High School is located at 70 North Avenue in Westport, Connecticut. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Deadline for Questions: Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Answers Issued By Addendum: Tuesday, January 30, 2024 by 2:00 p.m. The Town of Westport presently intends to schedule this scope of work beginning in the summer of 2024 (once school is dismissed-approximately June 14) and anticipates the scope of work to last approximately ten weeks. The Town of Westport reserves the right to terminate this RFP process at any time.
