Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bid deposits may be in the form of Certified Check, Certificate of Deposit, or Bid Bond made payable to the City of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Awarded Bidder must furnish a fifty percent (50%) Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City. Massachusetts prevailing wage rates apply to this project and are included as part of this IFB. The track located at Andrea McCoy Field currently has a Beynon BSS-100 track surface, originally installed in 2009. The City requests a respray of the entire existing track surface with red polyurethan. The approximate area is 8,600 square yards. Lines must be repainted per MIAA and NFHS requirements. The aggregate total bid price is composed of the total of all required material costs for resurfacing and painting, delivery charges, all labor and installation charges, and any applicable administrative or professional fees.
