Site work for a civil project in Lawton, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of March 18, 2024 project was awarded to Kalin Construction Company, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following Contract This project consists of extending 12 water main and 8 sanitary sewer to 66 th Avenue (northern Village limits) along North Main Street (M-40). Included in the project the construction of a submersible lift station, crossing the Lawton Drain with 4 force main, crossing the Lawton Drain with 12 water main, restoration, and various appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the Owner or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. Any project-related questions can be directed to project manager Paul Harvey at pharvey@gowightman.com. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
