This program preserves City Street pavement by overlaying the existing roadways. The project includes milling of the existing surface to obtain an acceptable cross-slope and to remove deteriorated roadway surface, striping, and signage. Timely preservation of roadway surfaces helps prevent the need to completely reconstruct the roadway, which would be at a significantly higher cost. This also includes application of BST (chip seal and fog seal) on selected low volume roads. As of November 7, 2024, this project is under construction.
