Seminole Wastewater Treatment Plant A summary of the scope of work for the project include: Headworks facility with screening, grit removal and influent lift station 1.3 MGD Aeromod WWTP 2 cell - Aerobic Sludge Digesters w/ digested sludge pump station Ultraviolet Disinfection System High Efficiency Blowers in building Dual Rotary Press in building w/ sludge loading conveyors Operations / Control / Laboratory Facility Concrete lined Flow Equalization Basin Associated piping, flow measurement and misc equipment with appurtenances Associated SCADA & Electrical system with appurtenances including collection system lift stations connection to new SCADA system All work shall be complete and operational, including all testing, training, warranty and start-up services and all other work necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Estimate: $44,490,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. No verbal questions will be responded to. Please submit through CivCast. Deadline for question submissions is 5:00 pm March 26th, 2024. Only responses issued via written Addenda or answered in Q&A section of CivCast are binding. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price The Bid security of the apparent Successful Bidder will be retained until Owner awards the contract to such Bidder, and such Bidder has executed the Contract, furnished the required Contract security, and met the other conditions of the Notice of Award, whereupon the Bid security will be released. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Contract and furnish the required Contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, Owner may consider Bidder to be in default, annul the Notice of Award, and the Bid security of that Bidder will be forfeited, in whole in the case of a penal sum bid bond, and to the extent of Owner’s damages in the case of a damages-form bond. Such forfeiture will be Owner’s exclusive remedy if Bidder defaults. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, for failure to timely attain a Milestone, Substantial Completion, or completion of the Work in readiness for final payment, are set forth in the Agreement. The Work will be substantially complete within 640 days(excluding demolition) after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 760 days (including demolition) after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the Owner, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing via Designated Website.
