The Contractor agrees that for projects of more than $35,000 USD, before it undertakes performance of the Contract, it will file with the Owner a Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract price, executed by itself as a principal and one or more surety companies authorized to do business in the State of Washington as surety. Bid opening notes - will be opened and publicly read in person and via an online platform at the Vancouver City Hall, 415 W 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660 at the time and date specified. This contract provides for all work to mobilize, remove and dispose of old concrete, remove or reduce Obstructions such as tree roots, provide root barrier as specified, pre-level or fill and compact subsurface Profile as specified below with crushed rock, replace concrete sidewalk matching style, and finish of Existing panels where applicable and other work, all in accordance with the attached contract plans, these Contract provisions, and the standard specifications.
