St. Luke's Avenue and Cedar Street Reconstruction The Project includes the following approximate quantities of Work: 1,200 liner feet of ductile iron water main with the necessary appurtenances including valves, fire hydrants, and water services; 500 linear feet of PVC sanitary sewer and corresponding manholes, 700 liner feet of storm sewer and corresponding inlets and manholes; 2,000 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter; 12,000 square feet of concrete flatwork, 1,000 tons asphalt; common excavation; site restoration; miscellaneous erosion control; and traffic control items. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The Village of Plain reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
