Site work for a water / sewer project in Malden, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Phase A consists of turning approx. 2000 gate valves and cataloguing data that is compatible with the Citys GIS. Phase B of the project consists of replacing faulty gate valve nuts without excavation The Water Distribution System Value Turning program consists of approximately 2000 Gate valves in the City of Malden's water distribution system. The Contractor is required to provide the proper automated gate turning equipment as well as the ability to replace rounded or faulty gate valve nuts without excavation. This maintenance contract will occur in two parts. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Office of the Controller, at purchasing@cityofmalden.org .
