Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Malden, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Project Area consists of two sites including (1) the Early Learning Center at 257 Mountain Avenue, Malden, MA and (2) the MacArthur Park Playground located at the corner of Madison Street and Wadsworth Street. The project area at the Early Learning Center consists of the existing fenced playground area on the north side of the school. The proposed improvements include full reconstruction of the existing playground with new play structures, timber edging, poured-in-place resilient safety surfacing, drainage, chain link fencing and gates, new asphalt and concrete pavements, and landscaping. MacArthur Park Playground is an existing playground and the work includes demolishing some of the existing play structures and protecting the three remaining structures, installing new play structures, new concrete curb, poured-in-place resilient safety surfacing, chain link fence and gate replacement, pavement and landscape repair. Construction of One New Playground and One Refurbished Playground: 1) at the Early Learning Center at 257 Mountain Avenue in Malden, MA including new play structures, poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, timber edging, pavements, fencing, drainage, and landscaping. 2) at MacArthur Park located at the corner of Wadsworth and Madison Streets in Malden, MA including selective demolition, new curbing, installation of new play structures, poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, and minor fencing and repair work.
