Questions Due Date: Jun 28th 2024, 5:00 PM CDT DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL: 6% Bus Shop (13): 12 - 14'x14' insulated sectional doors - highlifted with CL of shaft at 22'6" - w/ elec. op 1 - 14'x14' insulated sectional door - highlifted with CL of shaft at 22'6" - to include pedestrian door - w/ elec. op Training Room (1): 1 - 14'x10' insulated rolling steel - w/ elec. op Bus Shop Breakroom (1): 1 - 9'x10' insulated sectional with full vertical track, pedestrian door, and window - w/ elec. op Parts (2): 1 - 14'x10' insulated rolling steel - w/ elec. op *door removed to be returned to AOD* 1 - 14'x14' insulated rolling steel - w/ elec. op (parts storage) Van Shop (5): 1 - 10'x10' non-insulated fire door - w/ elec. op (west door) 4 - 14'x14' insulated sectional doors - highlifted with CL of shaft at 22'6" - w/ elec. op Body Shop (5): 3 - 14'x14' insulated sectional doors w/ elec. op (subtract one electric operator that has been recently replaced) 2 - 12'x14' non-insulated fire doors w/ elec. op (paint booth doors) Facilities Shop (2): 2 - 12'x12' insulated sectional doors - highlifted with CL of shaft at 18'7" - w/ elec. op Bus Wash / Chassis Wash (6): 6 - 14'x14' insulated rolling steel doors - w/ NEMA 4 rated modified carwash operators Warehouse (1): 1 - 12'x15' insulated rolling steel w/ elec. op Trinity Metro is looking to replace thirty-four (34) insulated overhead doors with openers that are at the end of their life expectancy at 1601 E El Paso Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102. The doors service the facilities maintenance, bus wash, van, parts, body, and bus maintenance shops that are all climate controlled. One door in Shipping and Receiving and one door in the bus shop will need to have built-in pedestrian doors. Doors #1 & #12 in the bus shop, door #2 in the body shop, and door #5 in the van shop must be tied into the carbon monoxide and Methane detection system to automatically open if the detection alarm is triggered. All doors will need to tie into the existing in ground vehicle sensors that open the doors when a vehicle pulls up to it. Scope: o Remove existing doors, tracks, and openers and then dispose of all items off-site by the vendor at their expense o The current door installed in shipping and receiving should be carefully removed and set aside as it is a temporary door that belongs to a vendor. o Furnish and install new insulated overhead doors and tracks o Furnish and install new (1/3 horsepower, 115V) or approved adequate equivalent automatic openers with appropriate safety devices o Furnish and install any and all electrical items that may be needed for new openers and safety devices o Including but not limited to: conduit, wiring, conduit brackets o Doors #1 & #12 in the bus shop, door #2 in the body shop, and door #5 in the van shop must be tied back into the Johnson Controls Carbon Monoxide and Methane detection system to automatically open if the Carbon Monoxide or Methane alarm goes off o Remove any and all trash produced by the project off-site by the vendor o The Vendor shall obtain all required approvals and permits prior to proceeding with the installation of the work in this scope. o Optional 3 year maintenance agreement with option to renew for 2 additional years.
