Renovation of a municipal facility in Frostburg, Maryland. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of 2/23/2024, the bid was pulled and will be re-posted at a later date. All questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing and received by the Procurement Officer's designee by January 24, 2024, by 10:00 A.M. to be considered. Written questions must be emailed to the Procurement Officer's designee, Keri Summerfield at KSummerfield@mdot.maryland.gov or sent to 1251 Vocke Rd. LaVale, MD 21502. The Maryland State Highway Administration Keyser's Ridge Maintenance Facility, located at 3876 National Pike Accident, Md 21520, is soliciting bids for a qualified licensed contractor to replace the two failed existing PTAC units with a mini split 3 zone system at the Finzel scale inspection garage at 20408 National FWY NW Finzel Md. to restore cooling and heating to the facility. The Contractor is to demo the existing PTAC core leaving the frame in place for removal later, the frame is to be insulated and covered on the interior with plywood. Once the system is installed, the contractor is to test the system for proper operation. Contractor shall supply a 1-year workmanship warranty. The current PTAC units have failed and no longer heat or cool. Work includes the demo of the PTAC cores and the install of a mini split system with 3 ceiling cassettes. Once the system is installed contractor is to test system for proper operation
