Reference Number 0000339487 The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed, competitive proposals from qualified, experienced contractors to administer successful construction of multiple small scope projects over the course of a calendar year. It is anticipated that this contract will be awarded to a single contractor for a majority of the projects. We reserve the right to negotiate with all vendors should the projects become too difficult for one vendor to perform. The Washington County School District wishes to acquire the services of a qualified, experienced Construction Manager to administer successful construction of multiple small scope projects during the contract period. The work will include, but necessarily be limited to, remodeling a number of school facilities. The construction work will accommodate growth in the student body and provide the District with enhanced and upgraded facilities. Schematic design of work requiring design work will be prepared by the architectural firm or engineer associated with the work. Some projects may be assigned after a walk through with the CM. The Construction Manager shall be able to provide bonds for any and/or all subcontractors (100% labor and material payment bond and performance bond) as required by the School District. The initial contract resulting from this RFP will be for a period of one (1) year. This will include options to renew annually, not to exceed five (5) years. The total estimated construction budget for all projects is $500,000 to $2,000,000 inclusive of the construction manager's fee and excusive of equipment and furnishings. The cost of each small project will generally range from $2,000 to $50,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document
